Dads. Fathers. What’s our verdicts on them team? They’re trying to claim this day, all for themselves. What do you reckon? Should we give it them? Let’s weigh it up here.

Did you have a Dad like this? Or is your man one of these men?

Perhaps he is the full blown house husband with more expertise than yourself?

Or a Daddy who will immerse himself in a fantasy world?

Perhaps he makes you all laugh when the going gets rough?

Perhaps he is a little bit scary?

Did he teach you stuff?

Or did he learn new things just for you?

Was he on your side?

Or just plain yummy? (seriously is that not the most delicious image you’ve ever seen?)

I cannot see a single shot here where the Daddy is not acting out of pure love.

This is my Dad and I

He has taught me a tough work ethic, to care for animals like they’re your child, to lose myself in the music, to repair things not automatically replace them, how to grow vegetables, the joy of ‘scratchies’ and he taught me that love can be shown in ways other than saying the actual words.

He teaches my boy to be gentle, patient. He reads to Little Vick numerous times a day and together they play tackle on the floor. He is all hands on. All love. He is beyond good at this Dad thing.

Both of these men have invested and loved me & my child. They have created part of my being, my beliefs, my direction, my destiny & will give the same gift to my child too without hesitation. So, I guess I will let them have some credit, but just for today, k? ;)
