Wordless Wednesday: Through My Eyes

Life has been swooshing past like a crazy set of rapids recently. It’s been a bit chaotic but as a family we seem to thrive on the constant speedy flow of the current. Until we don’t, but that’s another post. Actually I think you’ve read about that from me before and it was probably, if not should have been titled, “Vick the balance dumbass”.

During the crazy times I’m constantly reminding myself to notice the good stuff in between everything, otherwise I’m not winning in any way right?

Wanna take a look through my eyes and see what I noticed this week? (you’re nodding right?)

Flynn 8 monthsA baby with a mohawk looking suspiciously a bit ginger and which looks kewl as after a bath but for the rest of the time mostly like a bad comb over. That’s an 8 month old mokawk now. Hardly believable. Mumma in wonderment about that fact right here.

Flynn 8 months watching onThose hands, always twirling and scrunching as Baby Vick ponders. I want in on those thoughts of discovery. Can you imagine seeing the world for the first time again?

Flynn 8 months smilesAnd that face. The joy. His and mine, right there.

What things have you taken a quiet moment to notice this week?
